HomeBase LAB Berlin, in collaboration with Positive Nett-Works e.V. / Open Forum, is pleased to invite you to a unique event:
February 10th, 18:00 – 21:00 pm
HomeBase LAB, Thulestrasse 54, Pankow, Berlin
Hosted by Bas Kools, Anat Litwin (HomeBase) and Farah Lenser (Open Forum).
While Berlin is filling up with visitors who are in town for the „Radius of Art“ conference on social innovation in the arts, we were interested in creating a more „hands on“ direct discussion and exchange among artists, activists, scholars, the public, and organizations who are deeply committed to this topic, with an aim to further understand and articulate what is the meaning and value of „art in service“.
Todd Lester, renowned activist in the field of social innovation, founder of FreeDimensional and the current Executive Director of Global Arts Corps, adviser for HomeBase Project and many other non-profits operating at the intersection of art and social innovation, will join HomeBase Project and Positive Nett-Works e.V./ Open Forum for this evening, to share insights based on his accumulated experience and ongoing research in the field, and to discuss local and international perspectives in an open format setting.
The program of the evening includes:
18:00 – 19:30
Introductions: Todd Lester
HomeBase Project & Service – Anat Litwin and Bas Kools
Positive Nett-Works e.V./ Open Forum – Farah Lenser
19:45 – 21:00
